Blue Buffalo Wilderness Dog Food - an independent review, star rating and recall history by the editors of The Dog Food Advisor.
I’ve been feeding my rescue Eskie bb wilderness grain free for 3 months now. She’s not having no problems yet and eats it ad soon as I put in her dish. Her previous owner fed her kibbles n bits. Her coat looks beautiful And she has hard stools. I think each dog food affects each dog differdnly.
Using Blue Buffalo Wilderness Chicken Recipe Grain-Free Dry Dog Food for my 4 year old black Labrador. His breath smells awful but he seems to enjoy it. My brother told me about Fromm. About the same price. One less star on this website. Anyone have any complaints about breath? All the reviews seem to be good.

And below-average carbs when compared to a typical dry dog food
Start with choosing from the 4-5 star rated dog foods, read reviews, find which are recommended for your breed (or close), and then narrow the search down to two or three options. It is recommended to add a little of the new dog food to your current food for a few days, then slowly take away the previous food, and now your pet is eating the Blue Wilderness brand.I put my 2 dogs on Blue Buffalo wilderness based on this review. This food almost killed both my dogs. It caused severe diarrhea in both my dogs and a bleeding ulcer in one of them. He was within hours of dying. He is now on a 2 week course of omeprazole to treat the ulcer and still cannot tolerate any dog food. We have to feed him cottage cheese. I wrote to Blue buffalo as well. I would NEVER give this food to any dog.I went online and seen the 5 star review for Blue Wilderness, and decided to get a couple cans for my 4 month old basset hound puppy to try. My puppy has always been on a strict eating schedule. I feed him 3x a day every 5 hours. After giving him “Blue Wilderness Red Meat Dinner – puppy” for breakfast, he immediately had soft stool. I figured since it was new for my puppy, I would continue feeding it to him & let him get used to it. I continued feeding him this wet food for 4 days. Biggest mistake I made as a dog owner! On the 2nd day, he ended up having projectile diarrhea, vomiting, bad breath & bloody diarrhea just to name some of his symptoms. I will NEVER buy this brand again…EVER!! It took a whole week for my puppy to have a normal stool. This product does not deserve 1 star, let alone 5!!!Hi, I have a Siberian Husky who’s current diet is Blue Wilderness. However, it is driving me to the poor house!! Don’t get me wrong. I love my dog and will feed him and starve myself but I’m hoping to find a way to be able to afford to feed us both. Someone recommended WEF for us and I wanted to get some reviews from you guys. Ya know, people who have direct knowledge from using the food. First question- Has anyone switched from Blue to WEF? How is it compared to Blue? Does your dog seem to have any issues while being on it? What seem to be the pros? What are the cons? Any other information that anyone feels is pertinent?
