We have used these collars personally in the past and have had these scissor snaps open by themselves (usually at the worst possible moment!). You will find the side release buckles extremely strong and be amazed at how quickly you can put on and take off your dog's collar.

They come in 2.25, 3.0, 3.2, and 3.9 mm link rod stock and everything from 19 to 25 (giant) inches. The Neck-Tech comes in 19 and 24 inches. They come in 4 flavors.
