Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Moderate Calorie Morsels In Gravy Canned Dog Food
Royal Canin Urinary SO dog food - My dog has been on this food for five years now and loves it. We were just at the Vet yesterday and his blood work is very good and no "crystals" in his urine. He is a Papillon and we are very happy with his results.
Follow-up research of Royal Canin Urinary SO has found that severe, debilitating constipation, such as what affected our cat, is a common issue in both dogs and cats. Reading all the other consumer complaints, I find it irresponsible for any vet to recommend RC food. My vet has sent RC my complaint, my invoice and photos of the bag of food we still have (not using of course). The vet had been told by RC that there have not been any complaints to the company about this product. This was the first, and that my info has gone to their consumer relations department. To date I have not heard anything from RC directly. I would suggest everyone here who has had issue with RC contact them directly.

Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Dry Dog Food
I had a chihuahua for three years and I fed him Royal Canin food since he was a puppy to adult. One day, I noticed he started developing issues with urinating and just feeling VERY sick. I took him to the vet, had some X-rays done and bad news came. My poor Bobby was diagnosed with very very large bladder stones and a severe urinary tract infection. My vet told me that this was 95% from food. Not even surgery would help and I was forced to put him down, there was no option. My dog never had any symptoms and this came as a shock. I am writing this review in hopes of helping other pet owners the way that their reviews have helped us. Our dog was on Royal Canin Urinary SO dry food for three years for chronic bladder infections and crystals in her bladder. I've discovered that Royal Canin Urinary SO is highly processed, loaded with byproducts and potential allergens (corn...), which is surprising because this food is so expensive. They don't list the ingredients online which makes it difficult to research.Yesterday, Tonka, my beagle/coonhound mix, was diagnosed with bladder stones. The vet wants us to feed him Royal Canin Urinary SO 14 dog food to dissolve the crystals that are causing this problem.Jenny Hi all.. My 6 year shih-tzu has bladder stones, she was put on royal canin urinary so wet and dry. I smelt it the dry and didn't think she would eat it, we have to put it out the nite before for the air to get to it before she eats it. She hates the smell. She loves her carrots and cheese. I have never been one to give her moist food as I was told this was not good for small dogs. Anyway I give her moist food in the morning and her dry sits there all day for her to pick at. For her treats we give her chicken strips these are 100% natural chews our brand in Canada is Chewmasters. We first picked up a sample bag in Nashville (I don't remember the brand name) and thank god we can get them in Canada now. We were told not to feed her the rawhides as this will mess up her system.
