We just got a bulldog pup, the reason for my visit, but have 3 frenchies, 1 of them has had horrible allergies since the age of 5 months, and is now 7. You have no idea how many different foods we have tried. Even raw and he still scratched. From reading the comments, seems like sweet potato may be part of the problem, and I know that most of the foods we have tried all had sweet potato (he’s allergic to chicken wheat and corn). My vet who has treated him many times for yeast, never mentioned nixing sweet potato. So i’m getting my bulldog off of Royal Canin puppy(again breeder recommendation) and the frogs onto something they all can have. Thank you everyone for your comments! They DO help.

ROYAL CANIN BREED HEALTH NUTRITION Bulldog Puppy dry dog food
I started feeding nutro puppy but switched to Royal Canin Bulldog puppy and noticed immediate results. Duke enjoyed morsel of the food and I enjoyed the benefits that I was seeing. His coat started to improve, dark tear stains were gone and he grew by leaps and bounds. My Duke is absolutely gorgeous. He had horrible gas on the BB because the protein level was too high. We also had him on the Royal Canin before the BB and I didn't have any issues but just wanted something with more natural ingredients in it. I remember being told by our vet NOT to have him on puppy food for long becuase bully's can have weight issues. We got Tucker at 12wks and stopped the puppy food after seeing our vet for the first time. Tucker is on a grain free food called "Now" and he gets 3 cups food/day and he weighs about 63 pounds although he's pretty active. Can't comment on the TOTW because we haven't tried it. I think it was the lamb in the BB that gave him the nasty gas so we avoid anything(treats included) with lamb. Good luck sorting things out. As i've read many times here, food can be a bit of a trial and error. If you’re bullish on ensuring your bulldog pup starts off on the right paw, there’s Royal Canin Bulldog Puppy Dry Dog Food.
