Mar 26, 2016 - Rachael Ray Nutrish Dish Dog Food - an independent review, star rating and recall history by the editors of The Dog Food Advisor.
My cat really liked Nutrish. I bought one bag to give the dogs something different between Costco runs. He would steal it from our female pit bull who did not always want to eat it. I gave him some and he definitely preferd Nutrish dog food to his Iams cat food for Seniors. After seeing the low review I bought a bag of Only 6 for the dogs, which they ate. Now they are back on their regular Kirkland wet and dry dog food, both of which have 5 star ratings. Thought a dog food endorsed by Rachel Ray had to be a good product. Go figure. Sad to find out that it has made other reviewers pets really sick.
My dogs (Dobermans) have been eating Rachael Ray’s nutrish dog food for about five years. Their health is excellent, their coats are glossy, their poops are regular and firm and they love the food (they drool when I am filling their bowls). Your dog may have been suffering from something else. You don’t seem to have solid medical proof it was the food? I’ve had many, many pets in my lifetime, including two Pitties. One died at six from a massive stroke, the other one at age 11 from cancer. One of my Dobermans died at six, another at 17. None of my previous pets ate Rachael Ray dog food, only the two I currently have. Sometimes dogs die young. My current two Dober-boys are six and 10. Both are in excellent health and sometimes very puppy-like.

Overall, Rachael Ray dog food reviews point to this food being a good one for some pets. While there are a few issues with some ingredients used, there is a wide variety of allergy-free and grain-free options in the Nutrish line, making it a successful line that can offer a lot of quality for your pet at a great price.Let’s get started on the Rachael Ray Nutrish dog food review ingredient part of this post. I took the time to read up on the product and also to read many Nutrish dog food review posts by other loving dog owners so that I can give you the best perspective of the ingredients. There has been a voluntary recall put out by Nutrish before for their wet cat food. I do not, however, believe this is an indication of poor quality from the company. Many recent Rachael Ray dog food reviews mention the food being suspect to causing their dog’s problems, but there have been no official connections made between the food and any illnesses. Still, that’s worrisome. We adopted a new (to us) beagle, 2 years old. We got his dog food from his previous owners and started the 2 day drive back home. The little guy threw up everything he ate the entire trip, I thought maybe car sick or nerves, but it continued for two days after we got home. I decided to try Rachael Ray Nutrish Zero Grain Dog Food. It was like having a newer, new dog!! He has not been sick since the switch, almost 10 days ago. His stools are no longer runny (forgot to mention that one) and he is in an altogether different little guy since we went to this dog food. I would not have believed the change could make that much difference, but it did! This is now the only dog food we would consider feeding our pupster.
Quality of Ingredients Having zero grain was a feature I liked, I did not want to use a food with filler as part of the ingredients. This also seemed to be great for a dog with an upset tummy. This was all I tried and my next plan was to boil hamburger for a few meals to settle his tummy, but that was not needed. I believe the quality of the dog food was great and met our needs perfectly.
Flavor Selection There were several flavors, we started with the Real Turkey and Veggies Recipe and will stay with that for a while, but I feel like it will be easy to give him a variety of flavors available without any issues in the future.
