In New York City, trainers generally start at $100 – $200 per hour (with others going even higher than that) for private sessions, and group classes tend to be anywhere from $40 – $75 per class. If someone is going below these rates, it is likely due to either lack of experience or lack of confidence. You don’t want to deal with either of these things when it comes to having your dog trained. Oftentimes, skimping on the budget still costs the same (if not more) in the end because you end up needing twice as many sessions to get the desired results.

Select the session that best works for you, your bird dog and your budget. Monthly training rates include kenneling and individual sessions to work with the owner and their dog. Private hourly training sessions are available to work on any training you want to focus on with your bird dog. Join us for an 8-week Canine Good Citizen (CGC) group course in which your dog will have the opportunity to become CGC Certified! This course trains your dog for all items needed to pass the CGC test: 1. Reaction to a friendly stranger 2. Sitting politely for petting 3. Appearance and Grooming 4. Loose leash walking 5.
