Hi Kate, Wow it sounds like you have your hands full with this little Corgi. The blood in the diaper is a huge red flag. Incontinent dogs are very prone to getting UTI’s so my suggestion would be to get her checked out or at least call the dog’s veterinarian to discuss the problem. There are a number of ways to treat and prevent urine scald, but the best way is to keep the area clean and dry. Be sure to stay away from any products containing talc. Some of my readers recommend Maleseb shampoo and Aloe Vesta Skin Cleanser spray. I am not a veterinarian so please check with a professional before using these products on this dog.
