Horizon Legacy Puppy Dog Food - Dog Food Reviews
Most all customer reviews of Horizon Legacy dog food are very positive. Among many dog owners, Horizon Legacy is said to promote clean teeth, healthy digestion, shiny coat and a high energy level. Since Horizon Legacy is grain-free, this was another positive factor cited in many dog food reviews. Unlike some other grain-free formulas, Horizon Legacy is also free from potatoes, which was a feature that was well-received by consumers. Thanks Mike for including Amicus. I have been waiting for a review. As this is the same company (Horizen) that does Horizen and Legacy I would suspect that because the other two formulas are not specifically for “small breed”, they wanted to produce something they could compete with Acana and Now. I wish they still had their raw food line, I like to rotate, so it’s one I will have my dog try.Have you fed your dog any of the Horizon Legacy dog food dry or canned formulas? Do you have feedback that could help other pet owners? Please share your review of Horizon Legacy dog food!Perhaps the Horizon Legacy might be better. All I know is that Horizon is a very good company. I consider the food safe and great. Some of the brands I use the poops are a bit more but this is just the fiber, it is not bad for the dog. High fiber can prevent anal gland issues. In fact, my dogs never have blocked anal glands either.I’ve been feeding my dogs the new Kindly formula without the Alfalfa for a few days and there’s something in the mix he’s allergic to, one of his eyes is all flared and red, he is licking his paws and leg and his butt is itching because he does that butt then on the floor thing. I will have to revert back to Fresh Pet which is costly. I can make my own food but I don’t want to mess with that, I could put too much or not enough of anything for their diet.
