Good looks are combined with the best quality available in this leather dog collar — carefully stitched and sealed against moisture.
This collar is certainly one of the best on the market right now. My 45 lb, active dog has worn the medium (thickest) collar for two years, it has worn very well and I believe he'll model it for the next 10+ years. He chewed on the edge of the collar when he wasn't wearing it one evening but no real harm was done... Before this collar, I replaced his low quality leather and/or nylon collars every 6 or so months due to the collars becoming too filthy to clean or too worn down to wear. I'm certain this collar will definitely stand the test of time with my active pooch. This will certainly be the last collar I buy him.
Leather dog collars are beautiful, but do need a little extra care. You can use a damp sponge for a quick clean up. For a better clean, we recommend cleaning with a rag and saddle soap (or other leather cleaner) followed by a leather conditioner. We actually offer some leather and on our website.
